Solar Subsidy
Launched by the Government of India in 2024, the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana is a nationwide rooftop solar initiative aimed at promoting clean energy adoption among Indian households. The scheme enables residential consumers to install solar panels on their rooftops and receive up to 300 units of free electricity per month, significantly reducing electricity bills and dependence on the grid.

Subsidy Conditions:
- System must be grid-connected (not off-grid).
- Must Installed by MNRE-registered vendors via pmsuryaghar.gov.in, Just like Us!
- Net metering is required to qualify for subsidy.
- Subsidy is credited directly to your bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism.
